Hi everyone, I’d like to get some advice. We often scan contracts and legal papers in our office, sometimes entire archives, and I’m unsure if mobile apps are good enough or if I should stick with traditional scanners. Which way gives better results and makes more sense for a busy workplace?

Hi! I faced that exact choice last year. After comparing both options, I realized that traditional scanners still provide the best results when quality and reliability matter. They are especially good for offices that need consistent performance, capturing every detail accurately and handling glossy or complex paper without problems. Apps are convenient, but they can’t keep up with the standards required for sensitive work. I found this information explained really well on https://www.specialtystudios.com/ where they discuss why high-resolution scanners are ideal for archiving and preserving documents.
